Halloween Lighting In Riverside
Dated: October 22 2015
When there’s a something strange in your neighborhood, who are you going to call? For one Inland Empire neighborhood, this strange occurrence happens every year.
We’re talking about the elaborate Halloween lighting display in Riverside. For the past seven years, Kevin and Amber Judd of Creative Lighting Displays have put on the spectacular display at friend’s house on Deercreek Drive.
The light show attracts thousands of people each year, and last year the Riverside Police department shut down the show after a neighbor complained about the noise and the crowds.
But this year, the Judds are confident their show won’t be shut down.
“We went and got permits first and talked to our councilman, Paul Davis, and made sure we crossed our T’s and dotted our I’s with everything,” Paul Judd told CBS Los Angeles.
The couple posts a schedule each week on their company’s Facebook page, letting spectator know when the show will be and when the street will close.
The show features singing ghost faces, strobe lights, tombstones and thousands of lights timed to the theme music of ”Ghostbusters,” Michael Jackson’s “Thriller” and Bobby Pickett’s “Monster Mash.”
